“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy.” James 3:17
When we think of wisdom, King Salomon comes to mind.
What about purity? So much has been corrupted in this life that the thought of something pure oftentimes escapes our imagination. Yet it manifests in the most simplest of forms.
James wrote that the “wisdom from above is first pure…”
So it made me think? What are the odds?
Can these virtues exist all in one person?
Simply stated, I believe so.
Others might just brush this off as naive.
Possibly because life has brought them many trials and tribulations.
Hope might not be the first emotion any of us gravitate to. But Hope is the human language.
Instead, we question everything
Asking if there is any solution to our plight.
Knowing and recalling the words of the prophet Isaiah, “let us reason together”
And “if your sins are red like crimson”
They “shall be like wool”
Hope for you and me is then real and purity becomes also possible.
Everything beautiful was made by Him, even today.
Restorer of all things.
I can see it in the smallest of things.
New seasons, new hope and in new life.
Especially the life of a new baby.
Welcome to life Sophia Katherine!
Wise and Pure
Your name is a beautiful reminder that all of this is possible.
