Will He know you?

Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; … Mathew 7:22-23

How would you feel if, after working your whole life in the same company and with the same people, one day you were asked, who are you? Or if your daughter or son called your name and you said, I’m sorry, I don’t know who you are? Is it possible? Furthermore, can someone live an entire life promoting, advancing, and even being an ambassador of the Good News and not be known by Him?

It is a provoking question. It also exposes what is implied in this verse;

 Do I really know Him? 

You see, we can champion a cause and be immersed in numerous 

activities, not realizing that a personal relationship with Him is what matters. It is not what great things I can do for Him but what great things He is doing in me. It shakes my understanding of my life and purpose to think not to be known by Him. And I ask myself the question, Will He know me? Do I understand His purpose in my life? Do I genuinely know Him as I claim that I do?

God certainly knows who we are. He knows us from the beginning of time, and He loves us. So much so that He orchestrated this plan of salvation so that we would know Him. (John 3:16) But most of us live like doing is more important than being. We engulf ourselves with the responsibilities of life, and we forget to pause, to get to know Him and be like Him. As the son says, “I am looking for the day when I bow before Him and lay my crown at His feet.” That day, that marvelous day, I long to hear His voice saying, ” …well done, good and faithful servant”… (Mathew 25:21). Seek Him in the morning, and get to know Him. He has a wonderful plan for your life.

So, Will, He know you? 

¿Te conocerá Él?

Muchos me dirán en aquel día: Señor, Señor, ¿no profetizamos en tu nombre, y en tu nombre echamos fuera demonios, y en tu nombre hicimos muchos milagros? Y entonces les declararé: Nunca os conocí;…Mateo 7:22-23

¿Como te sentirías  si después de trabajar toda una vida en la misma compañía y con las mismas personas, un día te dijeran, ¿quién eres tú? O si llamaras a tu padres y ellos te dijeran, lo siento pero no se quién eres. ¿Será posible? Más aún, ¿puede alguien vivir su vida entera promoviendo, avanzando e incluso siendo un embajador de las Buenas Nuevas y Él no conocerte?

Es una pregunta provocadora. También muestra lo que está implicado en el verso, ¿Realmente lo conozco a Él? Verás, podemos ser campeones de una causa y estar inmersos en numerosas actividades sin darnos cuenta que lo que realmente importa es nuestra relación con Él. No es cuán grandes cosas puedo hacer para Él, sino cuan grandes cosas está haciendo Él en mí. Literalmente se estremece mi comprensión acerca de mi vida y propósito el pensar que Él no me conozca. Y me hago la pregunta, ¿Me conocerá Él? ¿Entiendo realmente Su propósito en mi vida? ¿Realmente lo conozco como reclamo conocerlo?

Dios ciertamente sabe quienes somos. Nos conoce desde el principio del tiempo y nos ama. Tanto así que orquestó este plan de salvación para que le conociéramos.(Juan 3:16) Pero muchos de nosotros vivimos como que el hacer es más importante que el ser. Nos enfrascamos con las responsabilidades de la vida y nos olvidamos pausar, para llegar a conocerlo a Él y ser como Él.

Espero ese día cuando me postre delante de Él, y a sus pies ponga mi corona. Ese día, ese maravilloso día, anhelo oír su voz diciendo, …“Bien buen siervo y fiel”… (Mateo 25:21). Búscale en la mañana, procura conocerlo. Él tiene un plan maravilloso para tu vida.

Así es que, ¿Te conocerá Él?

What an amazing story, A story that has all of the elements for a action movie! David was in the midst of an epic event that will transcend the times, but he did not know that at the time.David had many things at the time in his hand. He was even given an armor which he set aside because he could not walk with it. He had a sling, rocks, a staff. But it is so interesting that even when he had many instruments handy, and even proven useful after his declaration, his TRUST and his THRUST came not from the instruments but from the NAME. From the power of the name.

Where is your trust? From where comes your thrust? Is it your abilities, your resources or the lack of them? Is your trust on what you see? Is your trust on what you can understand? Is your trust on the things you can control? David had His TRUST in the Name and got his THRUST from the NAME. David called HIM the LORD Almighty.

He is called, The Seed of The Woman who will Crush Satan’s Head, The Passover Lamb, The High Priest, The Bronze Serpent Lifted Up, The True Prophet, The Captain of Our Salvation, The Angel of the Lord, The Kinsman Redeemer, The Seed of David, The Son of David, The One Greater than Salomon, The Great Physician, The Messiah from the tribe of Judah, The Temple of God, The Peg in His Holy Place, Our Advocate, Our Redeemer, The Lord of Glory, The Wisdom of God, The One Shepherd, The Rose Of Sharon and the Lilly Of The Valley, The Suffering Servant, The Righteous Branch, Our Faithful God, The One Who has the Right to Rule, The Fourth Man in the Fire, The God Of The Third Day, The Coming Judge, The Restorer Of The Tabernacle, The Deliverer, The Sign of the Prophet, The Ruler of the World from Bethlehem, Our Stronghold in the Day of Trouble, God My Savior, The King of Israel, The Signet Ring, The Humble King Riding on a Colt, The Sun of Righteousness, The Promised Messiah, The Active Servant, The Son of Man, The Son of God, The Resurrected and Ascended Lord, The Second Adam, The resurrection, The God of All Comfort, The Redeemer from the Curse of the Law, Our All in All, The name Above Every Name, The Head of the Body of the Church, The One Coming like a Thief in the Night, The Protector From The Evil One, The One Mediator Between God and Man, The One who Abolished Death and Brought Life, Our Blessed Hope, The Giver of Every Good Thing, The One Who is Superior, The Only Lawgiver and Judge, The One Who is Able to Save and Destroy, The Shepherd and Guardian of our Souls, The Morning Star, The Life, The Truth, The Only God our Savior, The Faithful Witness, The Firstborn from the dead, The Ruler of the Kings of the Earth, The Alpha and Omega, The First and The Last, The Begining and the End, The Amén, The Lamb who was Slain, The Word of God, The Bright and Morning Star and The King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

How do you call him? Remember, there is power in the name!

¡Qué increíble historia, una historia que tiene todos los elementos para una película de acción! David estaba en medio de un acontecimiento épico que trascendería los tiempos, pero él no sabía en aquel momento. David tenía muchas cosas en el momento en su mano. Se le dio incluso una armadura que dejó a un lado porque no podía caminar con ella. Tenía una honda, piedras, un cayado. Pero es tan interesante que incluso cuando tenía muchos instrumentos en su mano, e incluso habiendo demostrado su utilidad después de su declaración, su confianza y su empuje no vino de los instrumentos, sino del NOMBRE. Del poder del nombre.

¿Dónde está tu confianza? ¿De dónde viene tu empuje? ¿Es tu capacidad, tus recursos o la falta de ellos? ¿Es su confianza en lo que ves? ¿Es tu confianza en lo que puedes entender? ¿Es tu confianza en las cosas que puedes controlar? David tenía su CONFIANZA en el nombre y consiguió su EMPUJE del nombre. David lo llamó el Señor Todopoderoso.

Él es llamado, La Semilla de la mujer que aplastará la cabeza de Satanás, El Cordero de la Pascua, el Sumo Sacerdote,La Serpiente de Bronce levantada en el desierto, El verdadero profeta, el Capitán de nuestra Salvación, El Ángel del Señor, El Pariente Redentor, El La semilla de David, el Hijo de David, El que es más grande que Salomón, El Gran Médico, El Mesías de la tribu de Judá, El Templo de Dios, El Clavo en el Lugar Santo, Nuestro Abogado, Nuestro Redentor, El Señor de la Gloria, La Sabiduría de Dios, El único Pastor, La Rosa de Saron y el Lirio de los valles, El Siervo Sufriente, El Renuevo Justo, Nuestro Dios fiel, El que tiene el derecho a Gobernar, El cuarto hombre en medio del fuego, El Dios del tercer día, La Juez que viene, El restaurador de la Tabernáculo, El Libertador, La Señal del Profeta, el Gobernante del Mundo de Belén, Nuestra Fortaleza en el día de la angustia, Dios mi Salvador, El Rey de Israel, El anillo de sello, El Humilde Rey montar en un potro, El Sol de Justicia, el Mesías prometido, el Siervo de Active, El Hijo del Hombre, el Hijo de Dios, el Resucitado y Señor Ascendidos, el segundo Adán, la resurrección, el Dios de todas las comodidades, el Redentor de la maldición de la Ley, nuestro todo en todo, el nombre sobre todo nombre, El Jefe del Cuerpo de la Iglesia, El que viene como un ladrón en la noche, El Protector contra el Maligno, El único mediador entre Dios y el hombre, El que quitó la muerte y la trajo la vida, Nuestra Esperanza Bienaventurada, El Dador de todo bien, El que es Superior, El Legislador y Solo Juez, El Único que puede salvar y destruir, El pastor y Guardián de nuestras almas, La Estrella de la Mañana, La Vida, La Verdad, el único Dios nuestro Salvador, El Testigo Fiel, El Primogénito de entre los muertos, El Soberano de los reyes de la tierra, Alfa y Omega, el Primero y El Último, el Principio y el Fin, el Amén, el Cordero que fue inmolado, La Palabra de Dios, La Estrella Brillante de la mañana y El Rey de Reyes y Señor de Señores.

¿Cómo lo llamas tu? Recuerda, hay poder en el nombre!
